Not far from the economic hustle and bustle, a toboggan run offers some laid-back fun for the whole family on Zug's local mountain. If there is enough snow, the thrilling ride on the Schlittelstrasse runs from the Zugerberg mountain station to the Schönegg valley station.

The wide downhill slope of natural snow, at the foot of Lucerne’s local mountain, makes for a thrilling sled ride. With a variety of snow sports equipment, snow lovers can build up a head of steam. The route is closed for winter 2023/24. No need to look too far away – the Gurten has plenty to delight tobogganing fans. The descent down Bern’s local mountain is particularly appealing when the city disappears under a blanket of fog.
