Sport&Fun in Mompé Medel: the climb up to the start of the sledging run is quite strenuous, but racing back down the valley, with views over Disentis, is sheer fun.

One of Switzerland’s longest sledding runs starts in Cuolm Sura below Piz Mundaun, which overlooks the entire Surselva district. The run is approximately 9 km long and meanders mostly through the forest via Flond down to the charming town of Ilanz.

The start is quickly reached and sledgers soon have the Val Tujetsch at their feet. At first the run goes down the steep ski slope as far as Mulinatsch, then the second part is along a treated track and easier.
