Wine Museum

Located in the heart of Valais, Switzerland, the Wine Museum (Musée du Vin) comprises two exhibition spaces in Sierre and Salgesch and a six-kilometre wine trail linking the two sites. The permanent exhibition in Salgesch traces the history of Valais mountain viticulture across thirteen rooms, covering winemakers' know-how, terroirs, harvest time, cellaring secrets, ways of drinking, the image of wine and the art of tasting. The Sierre site hosts changing thematic temporary exhibitions. The museum also offers guided tours for groups and activities for schools.
