The Wildpark Heitern, known locally as the "Hirschpark", is located on the Heitern hill in Zofingen, Switzerland. This natural park with old trees and a small stream is home to red, fallow, axis and sika deer as well as wild boar, turkeys and chickens. Near the old town, the Trottenweiher pond and the adjoining aviary are home to numerous birds, including bearded reedlings and a talking grey parrot. The wildlife park and the adjacent Heiternplatz, forest and surrounding fields are accessible via well-maintained walking paths.
