Vindonissa Museum

The Vindonissa Museum in Brugg, Switzerland, presents the most important archaeological finds from Vindonissa, the only Roman legionary camp on the territory of present-day Switzerland. The museum is internationally renowned for the largest collection of Roman writing tablets, as well as rare finds of leather and wood and well-preserved equipment belonging to Roman soldiers. Visitors can enjoy an interactive experience of the ancient world through the permanent exhibition and a Roman garden. The museum also hosts changing temporary exhibitions.
