Swiss Museum of the Organ

The Swiss Museum of the Organ is located in Roche, in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland, housed in a 15th-century relay barn that is a listed historical monument. The museum presents over 23 centuries of history and technique of the organ, from the ancient hydraulic organ to the great organ of Radio Lausanne, including harmoniums, barrel organs and Italian instruments. Guided tours by the curator include demonstrations and auditions of the instruments, and the museum also hosts changing temporary cultural exhibitions.

Opening hours

The museum is open from April to October, daily except Sunday mornings, by reservation (at least one week in advance). Guided tours without reservation are also offered on certain Saturdays during the summer season and in May and October.
