Swiss Museum of Games
The Swiss Museum of Games (Musée Suisse du Jeu) is located in the Château de La Tour-de-Peilz in La Tour-de-Peilz, Switzerland, on the shores of Lake Geneva. Its permanent exhibition "Histoire de jouer: la grande épopée du jeu" traces several millennia of the history of games through a remarkable selection of objects, from physical games to games of the mind. The museum also presents the historical archives of the Loterie Romande, including lottery tickets and posters, and hosts changing temporary exhibitions. A free-access games room and a terrace overlooking the lake complete the visit.
Families and Kids
The museum welcomes families and offers a free-access games room with many board games to discover and test. Children under 6 enter free, and birthday parties and themed workshops are available for children. The museum also hosts a junior chess club on Saturday mornings.
