St. George's Abbey Museum

Until 1525, St. George's Abbey was a Benedictine convent. The museum tour takes visitors through the former monks' quarters, the abbots' houses and the monastery garden with its medicinal plants. A wealth of panelling, carvings and murals tell the story of the last monks in Stein am Rhein.
