Sprachpanorama Laufenburg

The Sprachpanorama in Laufenburg (Switzerland) is Switzerland's first language museum, dedicated to language and communication across 250 square metres over three floors. The permanent exhibition covers topics such as Swiss dialects, the history of the German language, reading and writing, and the languages and language families of the world. A dedicated exhibition section is devoted to multilingualism and its role in society and identity. The museum also offers guided tours, workshops and changing special exhibitions.

The museum offers guided tours and workshops for school classes of all levels and for groups of all ages. Special offers for primary school children from 3rd grade cover topics such as the history of writing and the alphabet. The multilingualism exhibition includes nine stations for listening, exploring and reflecting.
