Soap Museum

The Soap Museum in St.Gallen, Switzerland, has been dedicated since 2015 to the history of soap, its production, advertising and packaging. An old machine from soap production vividly demonstrates how soap is made, while vintage advertisements and household tools offer insight into the cultural history of washing. High-quality soaps are produced in the soap kitchen using the cold-process method. The museum also offers guided tours, soap workshops and events, and hosts changing annual exhibitions.

Families and Kids

Children up to 12 years enter free of charge. The museum offers workshops in the soap kitchen where participants can make their own soap, and hosts family-friendly events such as soap bubble workshops.
