Roggwil Castle
Schloss Roggwil is a small 17th-century baroque country castle in the village centre of Roggwil in the canton of Thurgau, Switzerland, whose foundations date back to around the 11th century. The castle, owned by the Stiftung Schloss Roggwil foundation, is today a meeting place for social events and cultural performances (KULTbühne) and offers a stylish setting for celebrations and conferences. Its history spans from a medieval tower built around 1200 to a baroque country residence, with late-baroque stucco ceilings from 1746 still preserved in the festival hall and chapel.
