Robert Sallmann Carriage Collection

The Robert Sallmann Carriage Collection in Amriswil in the canton of Thurgau is probably the largest private carriage collection in Switzerland. It displays carriages, wagons, sleighs and horse-drawn vehicles of national importance as well as documents, pictures, photos and books on the subject. The collection is being further developed by the descendants and supplemented with areas of wagon-making, saddlery and a forge. The museum is an ideal place for individual visitors, groups as well as festive family, company and association events.
