Richard Wagner Museum
The Richard Wagner Museum in Lucerne, Switzerland, is housed in the former country estate of composer Richard Wagner, who lived there from 1866 to 1872. The permanent exhibition on the ground floor presents Wagner's life and work in his former living rooms, including original furniture and the composer's playable Érard grand piano from 1858. The museum also hosts changing temporary exhibitions related to Richard Wagner. Its collection comprises around 1,600 objects, including furnishings, letters and autographs.
