Puppenhausmuseum Luzern

The Puppenhausmuseum Luzern in Lucerne, Switzerland, displays over one hundred intricately furnished dollhouses dating from between 1840 and 1930, collected by Benno and Rita Allemann. Living rooms, kitchens, shops, villas, a zoo, and a fairground with carousels and a Ferris wheel convey an idyllic small-town world. Miniature altars in a stylized church recall the original meaning of the word «Chilbi». The museum also hosts changing temporary exhibitions.
