open art museum

The open art museum in St. Gallen, Switzerland, is dedicated to the preservation and mediation of Swiss Naive Art, Art Brut and Outsider Art by deceased and active artists. It presents works from artistic border areas and by autodidacts who are often themselves boundary crossers. The museum offers guided tours, workshops and self-guided mediation formats for children, young people and adults, and hosts changing exhibitions.

Families and Kids

For children and families, the Händy, a playful museum game, is available in the foyer and can be borrowed free of charge at the ticket desk. Age-appropriate guided tour formats and workshops are also offered for school classes and families. The exhibition rooms are barrier-free for pushchairs except for the cabinet.
