The open art museum in St. Gallen is dedicated to Swiss Naive Art, Art Brut, and Outsider Art. It preserves and exhibits works by self-taught artists and those from artistic border areas, featuring a large collection of paintings, drawings, and sculptures.

The museum offers a free 'Händy' museum game for children, as well as family workshops and children's vernissages. The exhibition rooms are accessible with pushchairs (except the cabinet).
