Museum Zofingen
The Museum Zofingen in Zofingen, Switzerland, is the oldest museum in the canton of Aargau and presents a historical and a natural history department. The historical department covers topics from archaeology to the fire brigade, including the Ringier museum, the Zofingia museum, the Monetarium, films and grave finds from the town church. The natural history department holds various natural history collections as well as the collection of Hermann Fischer-Siegwart (1842-1925), the museum's first curator. The museum also hosts changing temporary exhibitions.
Families and Kids
Families can explore the collections playfully at monthly family afternoons. During regular opening hours, three free puzzle trails for children and families lead through the museum with six riddles each. A traditional children's competition takes place every November.
