Museum Lindwurm

The Museum Lindwurm in Stein am Rhein offers a glimpse into the everyday life of a wealthy middle-class family during the Biedermeier period (c. 1815–1848). Spread across four floors, the museum presents a living museum with furnished rooms, a playroom, and an agricultural area with stables, barn, and workshop. The museum also features a digital collection of historical objects.

Families and Kids

The museum fascinates children and adults alike. Kids can dress up in 19th-century clothes, discover historical games, and try lying on straw mattresses. The playroom lets children try everything out, and the Lindwurm Junior series offers age-appropriate events for young audiences.
