Musée Romand de la Machine Agricole

Located in Gingins, Switzerland, the Musée Romand de la Machine Agricole at the Moulin de Chiblins presents a unique collection of over 2,000 tools and machines tracing the history of agriculture and its mechanisation in Switzerland. Fifteen exhibition rooms spread over four levels display tractors, agricultural machinery, horse-drawn vehicles, viticultural and forestry tools, saddlery, forge equipment, dairy, butchery and kitchen items. The historic mill, whose first stones date from the year 970, also houses a stone mill, cylinder crushers and various machines for potato, vine, hay and grain work. The museum also hosts changing temporary exhibitions on agricultural themes.

Children up to 16 years accompanied by an adult enter free of charge. The museum's fifteen exhibition rooms over four levels offer plenty to discover, from tractors and horse-drawn vehicles to old farm kitchens.
