Musée du Vélo
The Musée du Vélo in Chippis, Switzerland, houses one of Europe's most important collections of vintage bicycles, with over 600 bikes, 2,000 jerseys and hundreds of cycling-related objects. The private collection traces the history of cycling from an 1861 velocipede to modern racing machines, including rare pieces such as a Michaux-type bicycle of which only two examples remain in Europe. The museum also features a workshop where the founder repairs and maintains bicycles of all brands.
