La Garenne Animal Park

La Garenne is an animal park in Le Vaud, in the Nyon region of Switzerland, dedicated to the care, conservation and reintroduction of Swiss wildlife. Since 1965 it has cared for wild animals in difficulty, presented around fifty Swiss species such as wolves, lynx and bearded vultures, and raised public awareness of biodiversity. The park also houses a wildlife hospital and runs species reproduction and reintroduction programmes, including for the bearded vulture and the Carpathian lynx. It hosts changing temporary exhibitions and events throughout the year.
