Kunsthaus Glarus

The Kunsthaus Glarus in Glarus, Switzerland, is a platform for presenting Swiss and international contemporary art as well as the collection holdings of the Glarner Kunstverein and regional artistic production. The building, designed by architect Hans Leuzinger and opened in 1952, shows changing exhibitions and, from time to time, selected groups of works from the collections. It is the only major art institution in the canton of Glarus and particularly promotes younger artistic positions. The Kunsthaus also offers an extensive art education programme and hosts changing temporary exhibitions.
