Kids Arena is an indoor playground in Emmen near Lucerne, Switzerland, described as the largest indoor children's playground in Lucerne. Open Monday to Friday from 13:30 to 17:30 and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 17:30; during school holidays and public holidays of the municipality of Emmen, open Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 17:30. Last admission at 16:45. Closed on 24 and 25 December and 1 January.

FAQ

  • What rules apply for children playing in the play area?
    The entire play area may only be entered wearing socks, and non-slip ABS socks are recommended. Children may only enter accompanied by an adult, and the supervising adult must remain in the hall. The play area is intended for children up to 10 years old, and the toddler area for children up to 3 years old.
  • Can I bring my own food and drinks into the play area?
    No. Bringing and consuming your own food and drinks is not permitted in the play area; consumption is only allowed in the seating area. An exception is made for food for toddlers such as baby milk or porridge.
  • Are there special opening hours for groups such as school classes?
    Yes. For kindergarten groups, school classes, and groups of people with disabilities or special needs from 15 children, additional opening hours (e.g. also in the morning) and special prices can be arranged.
  • What are the rules for children's birthday parties at Kids Arena?
    Birthday packages require a minimum of 6 children, and the birthday table is reserved for 3 hours. A maximum of 6 adults may accompany the party. Cancellation up to 24 hours before the agreed date is free; otherwise a fee of CHF 100 is charged.
