Historical Museum Bischofszell
The Historical Museum Bischofszell is located in the centre of the old town of Bischofszell, Switzerland, next to the Bogenturm tower and just five minutes from the railway station. Housed in two listed 18th-century buildings, it offers insight into domestic culture and town history across more than 20 rooms. The permanent exhibition presents bourgeois living culture from the late Gothic period to the 20th century, including a ceramics collection, a drugstore room, a pharmacy and toys from the 19th and 20th centuries. The museum also hosts changing temporary exhibitions.
Families and Kids
The museum's extensive toy collection delights young and old, and the permanent exhibition is suitable for families. Children's activities include trying out old instruments and a flashlight tour for children aged eight and over.
