Haus für Kunst Uri

Haus für Kunst Uri in Altdorf, Switzerland, is an exhibition house for contemporary art in the centre of the canton's capital. On three floors, in an extension hall and in a spacious courtyard, it presents changing exhibitions of contemporary art. In the Danioth Pavilion, added in 2009, the work of the Uri artist Heinrich Danioth (1896–1953) is permanently honoured. The house also offers a diverse art education programme for children, families, schools and adults as well as changing temporary exhibitions.

Families and Kids

For children aged 5 and up there is the free children's brochure 'My Journey Through the Museum' as well as a children's table in the museum café. Free children's workshops and family offers are regularly held, where children can discover artworks and create their own works.
