Glacier Garden Lucerne
The Glacier Garden Lucerne (Gletschergarten Luzern) is a museum and geological open-air site in the heart of Lucerne, Switzerland, dedicated to climate and earth history. Visitors can explore the spectacular glacial potholes created by the glacier 20,000 years ago, the Felsenwelt rock world, and the historic mirror labyrinth. The site also features the oldest mountain relief in the world, the Pfyffer Relief, a mineral collection, dinosaur traces, and a museum in the former Amrein family home. The destination hosts changing temporary exhibitions and offers an audio guide in several languages.
Families and Kids
The Glacier Garden is a great destination for families: children can explore traces of the Ice Age in the rock world, run through the mirror labyrinth and discover real natural wonders in a playful way. The 'Lily & Börni' search game takes children on a treasure hunt through the garden, and the Bistro offers children's meals.
