Forum Schlossplatz

Forum Schlossplatz is an exhibition and event house in Aarau, Switzerland, housed in the 'Haus zum Schlossgarten', which briefly served as the first federal parliament building of Switzerland in 1798. Since its founding in 1994, the institution has focused on contemporary art and performance, complemented by music, literature, architecture and design. It also presents a changing selection from the city of Aarau's art collection and runs an Artothek where works can be borrowed. The house hosts changing temporary exhibitions and a wide range of accompanying events.
