Flawil Local Museum in the Lindengut
The Flawil Local Museum in the Lindengut in Flawil, Switzerland, presents local history including the textile and embroidery industry, crafts, club life and living. The museum is housed in a stately manufacturer's villa with park and outbuildings of the former weaving factory owner Huldreich Ottiker. The permanent exhibition includes a still-operational hand embroidery machine in the cellar, an embroidery room, a crafts room and medieval documents from Flawil. The museum is part of the Textilland-Explorer-Tour-Süd and also hosts changing exhibitions.

The 'Abenteuer im Museum' (Adventure in the Museum) offer is specially designed for families or mixed groups of adults and children who explore the museum together in a playful way. It takes about 75 to 90 minutes.
