The Château de Nyon is a historic castle and museum in Nyon, Switzerland, originally a fortified house built in the mid-12th century and later transformed by the Counts of Savoy and the Bernese. Since 1888 it has housed a museum, and since 1947 it has been known as the historical and porcelain museum, with collections of old porcelain produced in Nyon between 1781 and 1813. The building also preserves historic prisons, closed in 1979, and attic spaces that can be explored through virtual tours. The museum hosts changing temporary exhibitions alongside its permanent collections.
