The aquaRii family and leisure pool in Altstätten, Switzerland, is open year-round and combines an indoor pool with an outdoor pool. The indoor pool offers a 25-metre swimming pool with five lanes, a multi-purpose pool with adjustable floor, a large children's paddling area, an 80-metre slide and a heated outdoor pool with massage loungers. The outdoor pool features a 50-metre pool, diving tower, water slides and a children's area with paddling pool and playground. Open Monday to Friday from 6 or 8 am to 9 pm, Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm; the outdoor pool stays open until 8 pm on weekends and holidays in June, July and August.

  • Are children under 8 years old allowed to enter the pool without an adult?
    No. Children under 8 years old may only enter the pool accompanied by an adult (18 years or older). An entry check is carried out, so a valid ID is required.
  • Is the outdoor pool open during the winter season?
    No. The outdoor pool is closed during the winter season (from late September to end of April). The summer season runs from early May to mid-September.
  • Can I buy tickets and subscriptions online?
    Yes. Single tickets and most subscriptions can be purchased online via the webshop. The verification of the local resident entitlement is carried out automatically in the background.
  • Are there swimming courses for babies and children?
    Yes. The facility offers baby swimming courses (from 16 weeks to 2 years), parent-child swimming (ELKI), water familiarisation and children's swimming courses with badges from Krebs to Eisbär, as well as adult swimming and aqua fitness courses.
