Staldenried - Gspon

Staldenried - Gspon is a family-friendly ski area on the sunny Gspon terrace in the Upper Valais at 1,894 m above sea level, framed by the Valais four-thousand-metre peaks Balfrin, Weisshorn and Bietschhorn. The small, inexpensive piste area suits beginners, advanced skiers and families; the slopes are artificially snowed and considered snow-sure. Two mountain lifts access the sunny slopes, and the «Rondell» snow bar sits directly at the edge of the piste.

Families and Kids

The small lift and gentle, uncrowded slopes make Gspon well suited to children and beginners learning to ski or snowboard. Local helpers offer private ski and snowboard lessons.

Food and drinks

The Rondell snow bar is located directly at the edge of the piste and offers refreshments. The village also has the Restaurant Mosji and the Restaurant Riederberg, plus the Alpenblick Gspon.
