Saint-Cergue
Saint-Cergue is a village ski area in the Jura vaudois above Lake Geneva, near Nyon in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland. It offers three small alpine ski sites — the pistes du Vallon in the village centre, the Basse-Ruche leisure area and the pistes de la Trélasse towards La Givrine — served by téléskis and a beginners' rope lift, with flexible hourly and day tickets and floodlit night skiing. The village is also a starting point for marked snowshoe, winter hiking and summer hiking routes towards La Dôle and the Parc naturel régional Jura vaudois.
Families and Kids
The pistes du Vallon in the village centre, with two téléskis and a beginners' rope lift, are described as ideal for families and beginners, and the Basse-Ruche leisure area offers pistes suited to the whole family. The École Suisse de Ski de la Trélasse is specialised in winter sports for children and beginners, and Basse-Ruche also offers sledging and snowshoe walks in winter.

Saint-Cergue has numerous restaurants, including the chalet-restaurant d'alpage at Basse-Ruche, the Refuge de la Trélasse, several hotel-restaurants such as the Hôtel-Restaurant de la Poste, Franco-Suisse and Le Point du Jour, and other village establishments.
