Les Marécottes

Les Marécottes is a ski area in the Vallée du Trient in the canton of Valais, Switzerland, reached by the TéléMarécottes cable car from the village to the hamlet of La Creusaz at around 1,700 m. The small resort offers marked downhill pistes served by the cable car, with the Mont-Blanc massif and the Rhône plain as a backdrop. In summer the cable car serves as the starting point for numerous hikes towards the Emaney valley and the Barberine, Fenestral and Emaney passes.
Families and Kids
Next to the terrace of the Restaurant de La Creusaz there is a free play area with an inflatable castle, a trampoline and swings, where children can let off steam while adults relax on the terrace. The site also features Charlotte la Marmotte and a digital augmented-reality investigation game.
Food and drinks
The Restaurant de La Creusaz, at around 1,780 m next to the arrival of the cable car, serves a varied menu on its terrace or behind large panoramic windows with views of Mont-Blanc and the Rhône plain. The menu includes Valais specialities such as fondue, raclette macaroni and croûtes au fromage, as well as game dishes, burgers and a children's menu. Further dining options are available in the village of Les Marécottes.
