Lauchernalp

Lauchernalp is a ski area in the Lötschental valley in the Swiss canton of Valais, with 40 kilometres of pistes and guaranteed snow up to 3100 metres above sea level. It is set against the UNESCO World Heritage backdrop of the Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch with its four-thousand-metre peaks. The area is reached by cable car and offers pistes for all levels as well as freeride terrain.
Families and Kids
The children's paradise Loichiland on the Lauchernalp offers the little ones a dedicated environment in which to learn to ski. The Alpine adventure trail on the Lauchernalp lets young explorers discover the Alpine world with interactive explanations, wooden cows and musical bells, and the Lauchernalp–Fafleralp Legend Trail includes a folklore quiz designed especially for children.
Food and drinks
The Panoramarestaurant Lauchernalp, right next to the top station of the cable car, serves guests in a modern and cosy ambience. Mountain restaurants and mountain huts in the Lötschental offer regional cuisine, and a gourmet hike combines three courses across three alpine restaurants. Après-ski options are available to round off a day on the slopes.
