FAQ

  • Is LAAX suitable for freestyle riders and snowboarders?
Yes. LAAX is a freestyle destination with five snowparks and over 90 obstacles, including the world's largest halfpipe, an Olympic-sized Pro Kicker Line and a minipipe for first jumps. It has been voted 'World's Best Freestyle Resort' nine times in a row.
  • Are there freeride routes at LAAX for less experienced riders?
Yes. LAAX offers yellow marked freeride routes that are secured by avalanche blasting, which allows even less experienced freeriders to ride in deep snow. The right equipment and basic knowledge are important when freeriding.
  • Where do the freestyle community and riders meet at LAAX?
The community meets at Caffé NoName, which is described as the heart of Snowpark LAAX and an ideal meeting point in the centre of the snowpark.
  • Is the Senda dil Dragun treetop path accessible for wheelchair users?
Yes. The 1.56 kilometre Senda dil Dragun treetop path, the longest in the world, connects Laax Murschetg and Laax Dorf and can be accessed by wheelchair; there is an elevator at both access points that takes visitors up to the height of the treetops.
  • Which mountain railways at LAAX can be used barrier-free?
With the FlemXpress in Flims and the Laax - Crap Sogn Gion aerial cableway, the mountain can be reached barrier-free in both winter and summer. In Laax Murschetg, lifts in Haus G take visitors to the rocksresort and the valley station, and an elevator leads to the entrance of the aerial cableway.
