Hochwang – Goldgruben
Hochwang – Goldgruben is a ski area on the sunny side of the Schanfigg valley between Chur and Arosa in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. A chairlift runs from the Fatschél valley station up to the Triemel sun terrace, from where a ski lift continues to Goldgruoba at 2280 m above sea level. Eleven groomed natural-snow pistes covering 25 km offer winter sports for families, freeriders, kiters, hikers and sledgers.
Families and Kids
The Hochwang ski area has a children's land at the mountain station of the chairlift, specially suited to young beginners who learn to ride the ski lift and the short piste in a playfully designed environment. Children's ski courses are taught in small groups of three to eight children and are tailored to young talents.
Food and drinks
The Bergrestaurant Triemel on the mountain offers regional specialities and a panoramic view, while the Skihaus Hochwang hut serves cold and warm specialities with a sun terrace. The Panoramabar Fatschél at the valley station provides après-ski drinks and snacks, and further options include the Pagiger Stübli in Pagig and the Restaurant Postbeizli Molinis.
