Engelberg-Titlis

Engelberg-Titlis
Engelberg-Titlis is a ski area in Central Switzerland that stretches from the Titlis summit station at over 3,000 metres down to Engelberg at 1,000 metres. More than two dozen blue, red and black runs for all abilities, including the legendary Marco Odermatt Rotegg descent and the Truebsee valley run, plus Switzerland's longest winter season characterise the area.

Families and Kids

Schmugglis Winterland is designed for the very youngest TITLIS adventurers. The quieter Gerschnialp and Untertrübsee slopes are suited to beginners and children, and the Schweizer Skischule Engelberg and Prime Skischule offer snow sports lessons.

Food and drinks

The ski area has numerous dining options, including Joseph's Restaurant in the TITLIS Tower at 3,020 metres, Atelier Hess at Trübsee, the Italian Lago Torbido at the Trübsee middle station, the Bärghuis Jochpass at 2,222 metres, the Truebsee self-service restaurant, Gasthaus Gerschnialp, Restaurant Alpstubli, Restaurant Untertrübsee, the Stand ski hut and the Spice Bistro at the valley station.

FAQ

  • Is there a separate ski pass for the smaller sub-areas?
Yes. The Trübsee Day Pass covers the slopes between Trübsee and Engelberg, while the Gerschni Day Pass covers the Gerschnialp slopes and the Untertrübsee ski lift. Both are available as full-day or half-day passes from 12 noon.
  • Do I need a separate cable car ticket if I have a ski day pass?
No. With a ski day pass for the Engelberg-Titlis ski area, no additional cable car ticket is required.
  • What is available for children and families at the ski area?
Schmugglis Winterland is designed for the youngest TITLIS adventurers, and the quieter Gerschnialp and Untertrübsee slopes are suited to beginners and children. The Schweizer Skischule Engelberg and Prime Skischule offer snow sports lessons.
  • Where can I park and what does it cost?
The first hour of parking is free. The car park charge is CHF 10 per day in winter (1 November to 30 April) and CHF 5 per day in summer (1 May to 31 October); the fee can be paid online via the QR code on the parking ticket.
  • Can I reach the ski area by public transport?
Yes. The area is served by the Snow'n'Rail offer with SBB train connections to Engelberg, and the TITLIS valley station is the starting point for the cableways.
