Dallenwil - Wirzweli

The Dallenwil - Wirzweli ski area is a small, family-friendly ski area with the Eggwald ski lift, a T-bar/platter lift surrounded by blue pistes. The slope with its moderate gradient is used especially in the lower part as a practice area for beginners. Right next to it is a free children's drag lift, a rope lift without a bar, for the first attempts on skis.

Opening hours

In winter 2026/2027 the ski lift operates from 12 December 2026 to 14 March 2027 (depending on snow conditions): Saturdays and Sundays 09:30–16:00 and Wednesdays 12:30–16:00. From 19 December 2026 to 3 January 2027 and from 30 January to 14 February 2027 it runs continuously daily 09:30–16:00.

Admission fees

Two ticket options exist: a combined ticket for the Luftseilbahn and the Eggwald ski lift, sold at the cable car's valley station, and a ski-lift-only ticket available at the lift or online. Multi-day tickets must be purchased for the full number of days at the start, and SBB discount cards are not valid on the ski passes.

  • Is there a combined ticket that also covers the cable car?
    Yes. A combined ticket for the Luftseilbahn and the Eggwald ski lift is available; it must be purchased at the valley station of the cable car.
  • Can the ski lift be opened on additional days for groups?
    For groups of 8 or more, the cooperative will try to open the lift on additional days, subject to weather and staff availability. Requests should be sent by e-mail to the operations manager, Isabella Niederberger, at least three days in advance.

    Yes, the children's drag lift next to the Eggwald lift is free for children and adults.
