Bodensee-Radweg, Stage 4/8

Through the island town of Lindau and over the bridge to the mainland. You cross the Austrian border without noticing; there are charming places to bathe here. You leave Bregenz, known for its festivals, “by the wayside”. Past the lake stage; a sedate walk along the shore. Signs announce the Rohrspitz Nature Reserve. From Rheineck, the first town on the Swiss side, the route leads downstream to the lake and to Rorschach.
