High above Adelboden, there are downhill sledge runs for every level of expertise. The run from the Tschentenalp mountain station to Weng is quite easy. It starts out along the ridge leading to the Tschentenegg huts and then makes several hairpin bends across open terrain, heading towards Tschentenwald forest.

The route is closed for winter 2023/24. No need to look too far away – the Gurten has plenty to delight tobogganing fans. The descent down Bern’s local mountain is particularly appealing when the city disappears under a blanket of fog.
