Gantertal Trail

The Rosswald cable car takes you to the Alpe Rosswald at 1800 m. Once at the top, there is a short climb up the Rosswald road. You follow the forest road, which leads you in a constant ascent to Alpe Schmidmatte. A rapid descent follows in the direction of Gantertal, past alpine meadows and individual alpine huts. Follow the forest road to Schalbett. After the wayside shrub on Napoleonsstrasse, turn right and follow the trail back to the starting point.
