Opening hours

Open daily, 365 days a year. From March to October the zoo is open from 9 am to 6 pm; from November to February from 9 am to 5 pm. The Masoala Rainforest opens at 10 am. On December 24 the entire zoo closes at 4 pm.

    No. Dogs or other pets are not allowed in Zoo Zurich. The only exception is certified assistance dogs, which are allowed except in the Australia outdoor exhibit.

    Yes. Lockers are located near the main entrance and at Masoala Rainforest. Prices range from CHF 2 to CHF 5 depending on size, and payment is by coins only.

    Yes. The main paths of the Masoala Rainforest are paved with tarmac and accessible to wheelchairs.
