Zoo de Servion

The Zoo de Servion, located in Servion in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland, is a family-run animal park dedicated to Nordic fauna, big cats, small primates and lemurs. Around 200 animals of about 60 species live on roughly 60,000 m² of wooded and landscaped grounds. The zoo participates in European and international conservation programmes for endangered species such as the Siberian tiger, snow leopard and Syrian brown bear. It also offers play areas, picnic spots, a restaurant and educational information panels.

    No, pets are not admitted inside the zoo. It is also strictly forbidden to feed the animals.
  • Is the zoo accessible to people with reduced mobility?
    Yes, all paths, buildings and infrastructures are adapted for people with reduced mobility, and two wheelchairs can be made available on reservation.
  • Are there feeding times to observe the animals?
    Yes, daily feeding demonstrations take place in the afternoon, for example for the Arctic wolf, snow leopard, primates, lynx, African lion, Siberian tiger and Syrian brown bear, except on Mondays and Fridays (except on public holidays).
  • Is there a restaurant and picnic areas on site?
    Yes, a self-service restaurant with a shaded terrace overlooking the tiger enclosure offers meals, and numerous picnic spots are spread along the visit route, some with game boards.
  • Is there a play area for children?
    Yes, there are two play areas: one for young children with slides, rocking animals, swings and carousels, and another for older children with obstacle courses, suspension bridges, rope ladders, a zip line and swings.
