Baroque castle and museum near Solothurn, built 1682-1686 as a summer residence for the patrician family von Besenval. The museum displays richly decorated salons, paintings, and original furnishings illustrating the French-oriented lifestyle of the Solothurn patriciate, surrounded by baroque gardens.
