Vivarium Tablat
The Vivarium Tablat in Wila, Switzerland, is a nature experience destination where native Swiss amphibians such as newts, salamanders, frogs and toads can be observed up close in species-appropriate aquaterrariums. The adjacent nature garden features outdoor terrariums with all eight native Swiss snake species, including the venomous adder and asp viper, as well as European pond turtles and lizards. A pond in the garden allows observation of spawning frogs and toads in spring and the reproduction of newts until June. The site also hosts changing temporary exhibitions on nature themes and offers a nature-active programme for families.
