Thurgau Art Museum

The Thurgau Art Museum is located in the Ittingen Charterhouse, a former Carthusian monastery. It presents an art collection with a regional focus and international appeal, built up by the Canton of Thurgau since 1942. The historic monastery rooms such as the Baroque church, monks' cells and the cloister form the special setting for changing exhibitions.

Families and Kids

The museum offers children's workshops, holiday programs, and a dedicated 'Museum für Kinder' (Museum for Children). Children up to 16 years receive free admission. Activities include creative workshops and guided tours suitable for young visitors.
