Thurauen Nature Centre
The Thurauen Nature Centre is the gateway to the largest floodplain area in the Swiss Midlands. The interactive exhibition provides information about the floodplain landscape, the renaturation of the Thur river, and the wildlife of the protected area. The centre offers guided tours, events, and an adventure trail through a small riparian forest.
Families and Kids
The Thurauen Nature Centre offers an adventure trail with a learning playground, an adventure path with 14 interactive stations for children, as well as special children's birthday parties and junior ranger programmes. The exhibition is interactive and suitable for children aged 3 and up.
