Thunstetten Castle
Thunstetten Castle in Thunstetten (Canton of Bern, Switzerland) is a baroque castle built between 1713 and 1715 on behalf of Hieronymus von Erlach according to plans by the Parisian architect Joseph Abeille. The museum in the castle offers insights into the 300-year history of the first baroque castle on Bernese soil, focusing on Hieronymus von Erlach and the last owner family Le Grand. The exhibition combines photographs, historical documents and interactive museum technology. A castle café with museum shop and the castle park complete the visit.
Families and Kids
Thunstetten Castle regularly offers children's workshops such as the animation film workshop for 7 to 12 year olds as well as treasure hunts and family Sundays with children's fun. The castle park invites you to explore and linger.
