The Hürlimannbad Zürich is a thermal bath located in the former Hürlimann brewery in Zurich, Switzerland. It offers a thermal bath with a rooftop infinity pool, emerald bath, steam bath and rain shower, as well as the Roman-Irish spa ritual with ten stations of heat, steam and water. Massages, treatments, day spa packages and swimming courses are also offered.

Families and Kids

Children (0–15 years) may visit the thermal bath and infinity pool daily from 09:00 to 17:00 only in the company of an adult. Baby swimming courses and toddler swimming courses are offered in the warm course pool. Changing tables and swim diapers are available.

  • Are there age restrictions for children?
    Children (0–15 years) may visit the thermal bath and infinity pool daily from 09:00 to 17:00 only in the company of an adult. The Roman-Irish spa ritual can only be visited from age 16.
  • What swimwear is allowed?
    Swimsuits, bikinis, tankinis, burkinis, swim trunks or swim shorts are allowed, provided they are specifically designed for use in water. Other clothing is not permitted in the bath.
  • Is payment on site cashless?
    Yes, only cashless payments are possible at Hürlimannbad Zürich. In the bistro you pay conveniently with the chip wristband.
  • Can you rent swimwear and bathrobes?
    Yes, on site you can rent a bath towel (CHF 5), bathrobe (CHF 9), swimwear (CHF 7) and a bath set (CHF 19).
  • Are there health restrictions for visiting?
    A visit is not recommended in case of acute skin or joint inflammation, severe varicose veins, open wounds, recent operations, and during pregnancy up to week 12 and from week 33.
