Swissminiatur

Swissminiatur is an open-air miniature park in Melide, near Lugano, Switzerland, on the shores of Lake Lugano. Since 1959 it has displayed over 130 handcrafted scale models of Swiss buildings, monuments and means of transport at the rare 1:25 scale, including a network of miniature railways. Visitors can watch artisans at work in the workshops and admire the park's botanical setting. The park also hosts changing temporary exhibitions and events.

Opening hours

The park is open seasonally; from May to August daily from 09:00 to 18:00 (last entry 17:30), and at other times from 10:00 to 17:00 (last entry 16:30). The park is closed during the winter period.
