The Swiss National Museum Collection Centre in Affoltern am Albis, Switzerland, brings together under one roof the various collections of the Swiss National Museum, the conservation and restoration workshops, conservation research and the Object Centre. It houses more than 870,000 objects divided into 14 collection groups covering Swiss cultural history, craftsmanship and artworks from its beginnings to the present day. The former Swiss Armed Forces armoury was converted into the Collection Centre in 2005-2007. Visitors can explore the collections online and join guided tours behind the scenes.
